You should write in complete sentences in your journal. Do not merely jot down the bare minimum in answer to the questions posed.

 

Your first assignment is to keep track of the steps you take in your research.

• What websites have you visited?
• What library databases have you searched?
• What terms, phrases, or keywords did you use to search the databases?
• What strengths or weaknesses do the databases have?
• Which have been most helpful? Why?
• Have you identified someone (an expert or a student with experience) you might interview?
